I have always liked photography. That's no secret to those who know me. There is something about a picture that's just magical to me. I think it amazing how we are able to capture a moment in time... Just like... MAGIC! What's also not a secret (now), is the fact that I LOVE abstract photography. To tell you the truth, I didn't even know it was called "abstract" until Slade started posting his amazing pictures. So here's the thing, I'm not so sure about his (if its even his) wig choice for the Twilight Saga cast, but If there's one thing I'm confident in, is that he can certainly "see" and capture "beauty" with the lens that most people wouldn't be able to appreciate at "plain" sight.

Eclipse Scene??

According to Lainy (from laineygossip.com):
“... Xavier is working on what’s currently intended (at press time) to be the OPENING SCENE in Eclipse. “Riley” in human form is being terrorised down an alley in Seattle pursued by a sinister shadow which turns out to be “Victoria”. He cannot outrun her, she attacks him, and as you can see from the exclusive video below (from PUNKD Images) he writhes in pain from being bitten.”

Is Slade Feeling the Heat?

Lotsa 'bad" things have happened while Slade has been in power:

1. Rachelle Lefevre was fired

2. Bryce Dallas was hired 3. Victoria’s hair is not quite right. The curls and the length are off! 4. Bella’s hair is a nasty mess 5. Jacob apparently is sporting the wrong type of bike (Looking HAWT Taylor! Looking HAWT!!!)6. A black Volvo appears. REALLY??? A BLACK Volvo??? At first I thought, Nah... thats probably some crew car, but then I looked closely and saw that WASHINGTON licence plate! They are in Vancouver so its NOT a local car. Hmmm?Have I missed anything?

We are all worried Slade!!! Please Tweet something to put our worries at ease!

I didn't know David Slade was so.... short!!! He's almost as tall as that meter.
Nothing against short people. I'm just surprised! And... It's kinda funny! lol

Oh how I love getting my TwiNews from the Twilight Examiner! This time around, she provided us with Sumshit's full press release regarding Eclipse!

SUMMIT ENTERTAINMENT STARTS PRODUCTION ON
THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE

Vancouver, BC – August 18, 2009 – Summit Entertainment announced today that it has commenced principal photography on THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE directed by David Slade (30 DAYS OF NIGHT, HARD CANDY) from a screenplay by Melissa Rosenberg. Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner will reprise their roles as Bella Swan, Edward Cullen and Jacob Black. The third film in the studio's TWILIGHT film franchise based on Stephenie Meyer's blockbuster book series, will be released theatrically in North America on Wednesday, June 30, 2010.

Along with director David Slade, several new actors are joining the TWILIGHT family including Bryce Dallas Howard as Victoria, Xavier Samuel as Riley, Catalina Sandino Moreno as Maria, Jack Huston as Royce King, Julia Jones as Leah, BooBoo Stewart as Seth, and Jodelle Ferland as Bree.

Also continuing in the saga as The Cullen Family are Ashley Greene as Alice, Peter Facinelli as Carlisle, Elizabeth Reaser as Esme, Kellan Lutz as Emmett, Nikki Reed as Rosalie, and Jackson Rathbone as Jasper. Billy Burke also returns as Charlie Swan. THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE is filming on location in Vancouver, BC.

THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE brings back members of the Quileute Indian Nation; the classmates of Bella and Edward; and the legendary Volturi, a venerable coven of vampires who weigh and impose the laws of the vampire world. According to ETOnline, Sumshit delivered the news that Julia Jones will be playing Leah Clearwater and, um…BooBoo Stewart (who the fuck names their son BooBoo???) is going to play Seth Clearwater.

Catalina Sandino Moreno to Play "Maria"

Catalina Sandino Moreno has been added to the cast of Eclipse!!!

Word is she will be playing "Maria", the vampire who "turns" Jasper so he can help her build an army of vampires for her to conquer and reign land. Where have we seen her? Well... She was the protagonist in

Maria Full of Grace

which I believe (correct me if I’m wrong) her performance in this movie got her an Oscar nomination. I own this movie and it’s actually one of my faves!

She's also been seen in

Che (2008),

Love in the Time of Cholera (2007) and

Fast Food Nation (2006).

Catalina will be playing a small role in the saga (probably involving a flashback or a memory while Jasper explains his past), but I’m happy she joined the cast.

Lets Talk "Eclipse"! Shall We?

Hm… So David Slade to direct “Eclipse”.

I’m crossing my fingers for Slade to address the hyperventilating/cringe-inducing/retarded-acting of Kstew! And here’s to hoping that Rpattz will not have that constipated look on his face… AGAIN! Lol. I have faith in you Slade!!! As far as my little research showed me (and I’m hoping my lack of research won’t make me look like an ass), Slade has only directed… two (or three) movies? and a couple videos and a TV series (whatever that series was). Hmmm. I get nervous with an inexperienced director! There’s an “up” side to him tho (for me at least, lol)... I saw “Hard Candy” and “30 Days of Night” and I liked them both.
I have the DVD’s, so I watch them every now and then at home. Both of them creepy movies (in their own way) so I have a feeling that Slade will do good. Lets just hope he doesn’t get too carried away and stays true to the way Stephenie Meyer described book number 3 to its readers.

I was (and am!) really saddened (and appalled) when “Summit firing Rachelle Lefevre” news hit the websites. I grew to like Rachelle since her appearance in “Twilight”. She seemed very approachable, funny, witty, and smart in all the interviews she gave. I found Lefevre to be very well spoken - putting to shame stuttering messes like Rpattz and Kstew (the HORROR!). I was REALLY looking forward to see Lefevre shine as “Victoria” in HER movie. I AM SO DISAPPOINTED AT SUMMIT FOR THAT FULL-ASSED DECISION! If Summit really wanted Lefevre, they could have tried to work something out and “let” her have her cake and eat it to (this is ASSUMING Summit's allegations are true). In MY opinion, Summit must have some type of hidden agenda here.

Well, Bryce Dallas Howard has been selected to bring to life “Victoria’s” character in “Eclipse”. Maybe I’m biased, but I didn’t like Bryce Dallas Howard’s performance in “Lady in the Water”, “The Village”; and “Terminator: Salvation”. So I can’t help but worry about the possible damage she might do to my favorite teen movies of all times (again… MY opinion!)

Now onto the rest of the cast! This week, some of the “Eclipse” cast was seen (and photographed) at Vancouver’s airport. Ooooh soooo exciting!!! Here’s a ‘lil peek at some pictures! Thanks to http://twilightersanonymous.com/news-blog for some of the pictures!

Oh and then we hear about the lil girl from “Silent Hill”, Jodelle Ferlan, who announced her joining the cast of “Eclipse”.

Word is that she will be playing a "Newborn Vampire" and I wonder…

if she will bring "Bree" to life, the only newborn vamp that survives the imminent attack (Vicky/Newborn Army v. Cullens/Wolf Pack) against "Bella", only to be tortured and killed by two members of the "Volturi"... Hmmm???

Her joining the cast was confirmed by her (or someone who claims to be her. One never knows!) on Twitter.

Oooh anybody knows who will play Seth and Leah Clearwater??? I’m DYING to know!
